For the second year running, Tregony PC takes the title in the Cornwall summer league. They totted up three match wins during the competition (losing only to Coaching Inn PC) and won 10 of the 12 games played, with a final points difference of +26.

In second place was North Inn B (Pendeen), also with three match wins; their only loss was to Tregony in the very wet opening round of the contest. They won six of their 12 games and had an overall points difference of +4.

Vogue PC (St Day) took third place on two match wins and six games, with a points difference of +11. Coaching Inn (St Columb Major) also came in with two match wins but one fewer games. Final points difference: -2.

North Inn A (Pendeen) ended without a match win - so close in their first round when all three of the games against Tregony went to 13-12! - and with three game wins. Their points difference was -39.

That's it for 2017: fingers crossed for more teams and better weather in 2018! Details of the winter league to come soon.
