Cornwall Winter League

After two rounds of the winter league the clear leaders from the 16 teams entered are Starsky and Hutch – Simon Penna and Rob Sullivan – with six wins from six games, 22 league points and a points difference of +47.

Behind them come five teams all on four wins and 16 league points, separated only by points difference. Currently in top place among these are Jarfish – Andrew and Sarah Jarvis - with +24. Close behind them, in third place overall, are Beer Taps (Roy Pemberton, Pete English and Mark McDermott) with +22.

Ray Beresford and Susan Williamson (First Timers) hold fourth place on +21, followed by Hipsters (Anthony Frost and Rod Walker) on +14 with the Don’t Knows (Pete PD Downing, Graeme Kirkham and Paul Rundle) behind on +11.

Seventh place is taken by Fincorn (Markku Hypponen and Sue Hardy) with three wins, 13 league points and +1, a great start to their first season of regular play in Cornwall. Richard Lapworth and Arnaud Ruetsch (Bombardiers) also have three wins and 13 league points but fall just behind on a –4 points difference.

Four teams (Heaven Knows, Point and Shoot, Rising Sun and Piggin Hell) are on two wins, with The Packers and Jodel on one and Talent Spotters and The Talent yet to score.
